Final Home Game Weekend of 2025-2026 Season

By Jeff Barrett
For a seasoned defined by a schedule that pitted the Wolves against two bitter division rivals a combined thirty two times, it's only fitting that the final home weekend would see each of those teams visiting the Watertown Municipal Arena one more time.
On Friday night, the Danbury Hat Tricks and Watertown Wolves will square off for the seventeenth meeting this season. The Wolves have six wins and ten losses in the previous meetings with Danbury, with several games going to overtime, and a couple of shootouts sprinkled in along the way. Danbury still has a slight chance at a playoff spot with four games remaining, and will hope to secure 3 points towards that end here on Friday, with the Wolves hoping to play spoilers.
For Saturday night's final home game of the season, the opponent will once again be the two time defending Commissioner's Cup Champions, and league leading Binghamton Black Bears. Binghamton has dominated the Wolves throughout the season, with Watertown only winning one game in sixteen tries. The one Watertown win was a bright spot though for the home fans, as they witnessed the Wolves end a Binghamton fifteen game win streak.
For the Wolves, the weekend is a matter of pride, as they continue to play with a ton for heart and determination, and look to close out their home schedule, with a couple of wins for the home fans. The doors open at 6:00pm, and the games are slated to start at 7:30 each night.
So come on out, be loud, and be proud, and support your Watertown Wolves for the final homestand of the season.
