Home Opener Weekend Preview: Wolves vs. Hat Tricks

WATERTOWN, N.Y. — The Watertown Wolves are finally coming home. The Wolves open their home schedule with a two-game weekend series against the Danbury Hat Tricks — Friday, October 16, and Saturday, October 17, with puck drop at 7:05 PM both nights at the Northern Credit Union Community Arena.

The visit doubles as Danbury's season opener. The Hat Tricks have not played yet, beginning their 2026–27 campaign on the road in Watertown before heading home to open their own building against Twin City the following weekend. The two clubs will see plenty of each other this season — Danbury visits Watertown 12 times, the most frequent matchup on the Hat Tricks' schedule.

If history is any indication, this weekend should be chippy: the two sides played 17 times last season, including five overtime or shootout games and a pair of playoff meetings.

Tickets are available online at Clubhouse Cards for Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17.  Group rates are also available for groups of 10 or more.

A reminder for fans - seating has changed this season.  Here's a video explaining what you need to know before you arrive this weekend:
