Jamie Lukas Returns to the Watertown Wolves
By David Paige
The Watertown Wolves are pleased to announce that Forward Jamie Lukas has agreed to return to the Wolves for the 2020-2021 season.
Jamie Lukas is entering only his 2nd season in the FPHL but has still not failed to impress anyone with the elite level of skill that he brings to the Watertown lineup. “I'm super excited” Lukas said. “With how the season ended last year and our team chemistry was not just as teammates but as a family and we were ready to make some noise in the playoffs.” Lukas also commented on how the team is getting those puzzle pieces to push for a championship; “We are more than ready to make the push and the people of Watertown deserve to get another championship.”
Wolves ownership state that “Jamie Lukas is probably one of the best penalty killers in the league and for us to have him on our roster with the huge number of scoring threats we will have this year we couldn’t be any more excited to have him return.”
Jamie Lukas in his rookie season posted some very impressive numbers. Playing 44 games scoring 18 goals and getting 15 assists for 33 points. However, Jamie Lukas also leads the FPHL in shorthanded goals at 6 goals which is very impressive to get especially in a rookie season.
The Wolves continue to stay busy with building their roster as the continue to look like being a favorite to get another FPHL title.
