Watertown Wolves Back Home Friday & Saturday Night
Watertown, NY - The Watertown Wolves of the Federal Hockey League are back on home ice at the Watertown Municipal Arena this weekend for two home games. Friday @ 7:30pm, the Wolves host the expansion Cornwall Nationals and Saturday @ 7:30pm the Danbury Titans are in town.
Watertown starts the weekend in third place in the FHL with a record of 3 wins, 2 losses, and an overtime win which is good for 11 points in the FHL standings. Forward Jeremy Akeson leads all FHL scorers with a 1.60 points per game average. Wolves goaltender Edward Zdolshek is tied for most wins with four.
The Cornwall Nationals are in seventh place in the Federal Hockey League posting a record of 1 win, 2 losses, and 1 overtime win for 5 points in the standings. Watertown defeated Cornwall on November 5th in Ontario. The Danbury Titans stand in fifth place with an overall record of 2 wins, 4 losses, 1 overtime win, and 1 overtime loss for 9 points. Watertown leads the season series 2-0 with the latest victory coming in Connecticut last Saturday. After this weekend, the Wolves are out of town until December 2nd.
This weekend the Wolves introduce their “$23.00 Weekend Special.” Anyone who buys a $13.00 adult ticket to Friday’s game can bring the Friday ticket stub back on Saturday and get an adult ticket for only $10.00 for Saturday’s game. Tickets will go on sale starting at 6pm on Friday night at the renovated (and heated) Watertown Municipal Arena.
