Watertown Wolves Host Team TrevorStrong Night

The Watertown Wolves have two home games this weekend at the Watertown Municipal Arena. On Friday, March 10th at 7:30 the 4th place Wolves host the 2nd place Berlin River Drivers and on Saturday, March 11th at 7:30 the Wolves face off against the 3rd place Danbury Titans. This will be a pivotal weekend for the Wolves playoff seeding, as they are currently only 3 points behind the River Drivers in the standings.

The game on Friday, March 10th is brought to you by Watertown Pediatric Dentistry and the first 100 fans into the game will receive free toothbrush kits courtesy of Watertown Pediatric Dentistry.

Saturday, March 11th the Wolves and Titans are teaming up to help beat childhood cancer with assistance from Beads of Courage. Through this program, children coping with serious illness tell their story using colorful beads as meaningful symbols of encouragement that commemorate milestones they achieve along their treatment path. Players from both teams will be wearing strands of beads during warm-ups that will then be given to the foundation for kids to receive all around the United States. Greyson Trottier, a participant in the Beads of Courage, will be there to explain his story and tell how the foundation helped him. Family members of Trevor Weston, who is a 14 year old boy from Chaumont, NY who was very recently diagnosed with Acute Myeloid LeukemiaAcute Myeloid Leukemia, will be at the game to tell Trevor’s story. They will also be selling T-shirts and other items at the game to generate funds to cover medical expenses.
