Wolves add Brett Mackell, Tim Perks and Nick Trefry from the Mentor dispersal draft
The FPHL holds a dispersal draft today for the dissolving of the Mentor Ice Breakers.
1st round Brett Mackell, Brett is a defensive defenseman and takes care of his own end first. He is a smart puck-moving defenseman who makes good decisions with the puck. Brett will provide us with depth at our blue line. Standing 6'1" and 235 pounds, he brings with him more size and grit to hold the blue line.
2nd round Tim Perks, Tim is a forward that plays an aggressive style of hockey. Standing at 6'2" 185 pounds, he adds good size and speed to the lineup.
3rd round Nick Trefry, Nick is a defensive player with a high shooting percentage. Acquired by the Mentor Ice Breakers from the Motor City Rockers recently this year. During the 2019-2020 season with the Northland College NCAA III, he appeared in 30 games as a fifth-year... recorded two goals and 10 assists. Brett will provide us with depth at our blue line. At 6'3" and 229 pounds, he brings with him more size to the Wolves Defense.
