Wolves adds further toughness & experience:
During an already busy week for the Watertown Wolves, we are happy today to announce that Braedyn Asselstine is coming back to join the team for this upcoming season!
Braedyn is a very physical player, and has already experienced play at a higher level, playing 21 games for the Evansville Thunderbolts last season. Asselstine is the latest addition to an already very strong blue line for the Wolves, who are gearing up to fight for the Commissioners Cup, as the season gets underway finally in a months’ time.
“I really like what I’m seeing in Watertown – the one thing I hate more than anything in life, is losing, and by coming to the Wolves, I feel I’m giving myself the best possible chance at winning a championship”, commented Asselstine.
Coach Clarke likes what he’s seen from Braedyn in the past – “I know we keep saying it, but we are building a physically very imposing team, and Asselstine will really help further that agenda. Anyone who has seen him play knows how tough he is, doesn’t back down from a fight, but he is also a high quality player that can really play hockey too”.
We welcome Braedyn to the Wolves, as we get ready to start training camp at the end of January, before playing a 3 game “showcase” against Elmira, before finally embarking on the regular season.
