WOLVES RE-SIGN DERIC BOUDREAU

Watertown, NY, August 14th – The Watertown Wolves have re-signed forward Deric Boudreau for the upcoming Federal Prospects Hockey League season.

After playing five seasons of USports hockey for the Royal Military College, Deric made his jump to play professional hockey. He scored 9 goals, with 18 assists for 27 points in 19 games with the Wolves.

“I wanted to continue playing a sport I love with a great bunch of guys” stated Boudreau when asked why he decided to re-sign with the Wolves.

Deric played his junior hockey with the Ottawa Jr. Senators of the CCHL before making the jump to play in the QMJHL with the Gatineau Olympiques.

"Having a guy like Boudreau back changes the whole dynamic of our team. He's a workhorse and a skilled guy in one and those types of guys are hard to find, can't wait to play alongside him again this season" stated Wolves Player Coach Tyler Gjurich.

Boudreau also played 3 games in the SPHL with the Birmingham Bulls, recording one assist.

“Having Boudreau re-signing with Watertown is huge for our team. He played a huge role last year and he will play an even bigger role this season. I was lucky enough to be his line-mate last season, so I know first hand just how great of an addition he is to this year’s team” stated Wolves Player Coach Lane King.
